Saturday in Nyon: the market in the morning, brunch at noon

If you had to keep just one day to taste Nyon, it would be Saturday. The market fills the town centre streets from 8am to 2pm — and a few steps away, place Bel-Air, our brunch takes over. Here is the programme, step by step.

8am–2pm: the market, in the town centre

Every Saturday, the Nyon market brings together more than fifty stallholders — mostly regional producers — across place St-Martin, rue de la Gare, rue du Collège, place du Marché and the Grand-Rue. Fruit and vegetables, cheeses, bread, local specialities: this is where the town's heart beats, and where our kitchen finds its rhythm. Our menu changes every week for the same reason the stalls do: the season decides.

Then: brunch, place Bel-Air

Basket full, the best part remains: sitting down. Our Saturday brunch is homemade with the grocery's products, and its menu changes every week — eggs, bread, artisan cheeses and charcuterie, sweet things, specialty coffee, and even a glass of living wine if you feel like it. In fine weather, the terrace looks onto the square.

Saturday in Nyon is a simple story: the market, then the table.

The afternoon: the grocery and the cellar

After brunch, the house stays open: the fine grocery to complete your market basket — matured cheeses, charcuterie, chosen preserves — and the cellar for tonight's bottle, in natural, organic and biodynamic wines from La Côte and beyond. All to take away, or to taste on site.
